George immediately asked his superiors about the problem at hand,  even his superior agreed that action had to be taken to resolve the problem.

First they had to conduct tests to find out exactly what was causing swelling and then find out why the belly was swelling the way it was swelling. Even his superior was worried about the situation at hand and felt that George needed to act as fast as possible. The superior advised George to approach the lion with as much care as he could. George agreed with him, in order to save the lion’s life, he needed to act fast.
