Peter Kay and Susan Gargan – Together Since 2001

Susan and Peter Kay have been married for two decades now and she has been there for Kay for the most part of his career. However, their relationship can stretch back to the 1990s.

Both personally and professionally, Susan has been a director of the series Goodnight Vienna Productions which also co-produces Peter Kay’s comedy.

The couple first set their eyes on each other in 1998 in a nightclub in Bolton, when Peter was then working at the local cinema and Susan was then working at Boots. On their second date, Peter Kay managed to fall and break his arms, however as per Peter his future wife took pity on him and decided to marry him. The two tied the knot soon after in 2001 and welcomed three children. Needless to say, the couple is still enjoying a great marital life.
