Nicole Johnson – Michael Phelps

Gold medalist Michael Phelps is arguably one of the best swimmer athletes of all time! Having earned 23 gold medals under his belt, this is a feat that is simply hard to break. Michael Phelps started dating Nicole Johnson in 2016. She was a former California beauty queen. Nicole met Michael during the ESPN Awards. She was his date during that time and was also working at ESPN. They got engaged in 2015. Nicole was very supportive of Michael as she was present during the 2016 Olympics where Michael competed for the last time.

They got married in 2016 and had their first son Boomer in the same year as well. Nicole is a graduate of the University of Southern California with a Bachelor’s Degree in communications which focuses on the entertainment and sports field. No wonder, she and Michael were meant to be! She is currently doing volunteer work as a marketing manager at her husband’s foundation – The Michael Phelps Foundation where it offers swimming lessons to families who have low income. Their earnings mostly come from her husband’s paid partnerships and other promotional appearances.
