Actor, composer, and TV producer Richard Dean Aderson has come a very long way since his first role in General Hospital, a role he held for the years 1976 through to 1981. Anderson obtained his education via St. Cloud State University and through Ohio University. His most famous role was in MacGyver as the title character of the show, a TV role he kept going between 1985 and 1992.
Anderson’s acting portfolio has fattened up over his career, after taking on roles in many productions like the Stargate series, Through the Eyes of a Killer, Firehouse, and many more. Anderson isn’t just a star actor, but a skillful executive producer as well. He happens to be the co-creator of the Gekko Film Corporation. Anderson has two Saturn Awards and a Celebrity Award, which he won in 1995 from the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
