Richard Dean Anderson – 1950

With the MacGyver remake series enjoying its fourth season, it is natural to reminiscence the original series. Richard Dean Anderson played the protagonist in the show when it was on the air in the eighties. He began his television career with the role of Jeff Webber in the show General Hospital. 

Playing the role of MacGyver is arguably one of his most popular acting stints. He also starred in several films such as Through the Eyes of the Killer, Pandora’s Clock, and Firehouse in the nineties.

Dean is now in his 70’s and enjoying his moments at his retirement home away from the arclights. The last time he acted was in the 2013 show Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 episodes in 2013. Dean has a net worth of $20 million, and his acting in Stargate SG-1  found great appreciation too!
