Jane Powell – 1929

Jane Powell’s Hollywood career started when she was a teenager. She got herself a contract with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer and after that, she became the star of the show. Her talents were not just limited to acting. She also sand and danced which we saw in many of her musicals like Royal Wedding, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, A Date With Judy, and more.

A star with so many talents, she soon became a legacy and appeared in numerous films such as Tubby the Tuba, Small Town Girl, and so on. She has been married five times but after the demise of her fifth husband, she moved to New York for a short while. But then went on to sell that apartment and shifted to a new home. The 91-year-old former actress currently lives in Wilton. Her retirement announcement came in 2004, but looking at her recent pictures and the glow she has, we continue to hope that she would make a comeback.
