Janis Paige – 1922
Janis Paige initiated her career as a singer. At a tender age, she was well on her path to stardom when she started singing at the Hollywood Canteen where she was first noticed. Janis went on to attain stardom with films like Two Gals and A Guy and Romance On the High Seas. She also appeared in numerous Broadway musicals such as The Pajama Game.
Afterward, she made a comeback to Hollywood and churned out blockbusters viz. Bachelors In Paradise, The Caretakers, and Silk Stockings. Janis appeared in It’s Always Jan, a television series. After a divorce from her first marriage, she got hitched to Arthur Stander. But this marriage followed the same fate as her first one. In the early stages of the 2000s, Janis lost her voice but recuperated after a long treatment — she must have undergone a surgery we guess. We wish you the pink of health, Janis!
