June Brown – EastEnders – Age 94

June Brown, the iconic British TV star, impressed everyone with her role as Dot Cotton in EastEnders. She continued to play the role for 35 years straight, winning countless awards for her excellent performance.

June won the Best Actress Award at the Inside Soap Awards and went onto receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the British Soap Awards. She became a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2008 Birthday Honours for providing services to drama and charity. In February 2020, June finally left the EastEnders show permanently, when she was 93 years of age.

Some of her other shows include Oliver Twist, and Bean. June was also a part of the 2020 documentary called Soho Is. She has had a tremendous career essaying varied characters, each different from the other, which speaks a lot about her acting talent.
