Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw – Together Since 1991

Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw have had a very unusual start to their relationship. Their love story started when the director took the less famous Kate on board as the lead actress for his iconic film, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, ignoring other famous aspirants including Sharon Stone. That came as a surprise for many, but Spielberg was confident of what he was doing.

Steven started going around with Kate in spite of being involved in a marital relationship with Amy Irving, which was not taken in good taste by the media. This led to a divorce between Spielberg and Irving which proved to be expensive for the filmmaker. However, he and Capshaw have stuck to each other ever since they got hitched in 1991.
