Anthony Edwards has started a new chapter in his life. He secretly married Mare Winningham in 2021. The couple came together when they starred in ER, the medical drama on NBC. However, the two chanced upon each other for the first time when they acted together in Miracle Mile in 1980.

Therefore, their association has been a long one. While Anthony portrayed the role of Dr. Mark Greene in ER, Mare was seen as Dr. Amanda Lee. The former received more than five Screen Actors Guild Awards and a Golden Globe for his role.
